Based on the surveys of students and teachers covered by the School of Peace project, experts from the NGO “Poruch” conducted a research “The spread of non-violent methods of communication in the school environment as a factor of strengthening of the communities social cohesion in the conditions of war”.
This research was carried out in partnership with ChildFund Deutschland, with financial support from the ifa Institute for International Relations, funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The indicators presented in it testify both to the relevance of measures to spread the methods and means of nonviolent communication and peace-building in schools, and to the fact that the level of conflict remains controlled in war conditions and to a large extent its reduction is a function of the development of the toolkit of prevention and resolution of conflict situations. Such measures are being implemented in the course of the work of our “Schools of Peace” in different parts of Ukraine.
